The sudden news of Sierra Pacific Industries salvage logging on private land within the Underwood Roadless Area came too late. Green Diamond Clearcutting in Jacoby Creek Tract

With 101 acres of Redwood clearcuts already approved- Green Diamond is proposing to clearcut 76 more acres in lower Jacoby Creek. Green Diamond may have this tract in their sights for residential development due to it’s close proximity to town.
