The Salmonberry bushes are beginning to flower.

Looking across to another tree sit from a comfy perch, a long tyrolean traverse fades into the distance. The water bottle is set up to catch rainwater.

A small creek cascades through ancient logs.

Trilliums are flowering.

The kitchen is all tied in.

In the tree-village today, an activist on the ground approached a recently lowered climbing rope to find it severed and a carabiner stolen off of the end of the rope. I called up one of the tree-villagers this morning to see how the crew is faring in the storm.
“Suns out, a little bit of drizzle and the wind stopped,” reported “S” from her nest in a 120+ year old Redwood that she has been occupying for quite some time.
“Did everyone stay dry last night?” [...]
