Sarah Palin, Environmentalist
by EF!Humboldt ~ February 9th, 2010. Filed under: Climate Justice, Earth First!, News, clear-cutting, sierra pacific industries.
Sarah Palin took a break from shooting Wolves and other large animals from a helicopter to make an appearance at the Sierra Cascade Logging Conference yesterday. She defended her environmental track record with the following statement- “We really do love our trees,” Palin said. “I named my daughter Willow. Isn’t that granola enough for them?”
While decrying environmental protection laws and calling evidence of global climate change “snake oil science”, she forgoes the use of paper at every opportunity, as evidenced by use of her hand as a notepad to remember the principles of her movement.
Sadly, EF! Humboldt was not able to make an appearance in the hotbed of Sierra Pacific Industries deforestation due to the volume of events and movement building activites of our own that are happening right now.
